THE QUEENSLAND PARTY
SAYS NO TO FLUORIDE
Clean Water Policy: ❝ If in doubt, leave it out ❞
Posted on October 31, 2011 by Ruth Bonnett
Queensland’s only state-based party will ensure
that water supplies are as safe and pure as
possible, with toxic fluoride to be removed, under
their Clean Water policy.
The Queensland Party’s Health and Disabilities Spokesperson, Wendy Richardson today affirmed that her party’s policy would be to ‘educate rather than medicate’.
“Surely we must all agree that it is an inalienable right for people to have water that is clean, pure and unadulterated. It must be the individual’s choice to add chemicals or any other material to that water, not a government’s.”
“For 50 years or more, the western world has been told that fluoridation was useful in the prevention of tooth decay, and most people, including our health professionals and politicians, believed that. However, more and more dentists, doctors and toxicologists are changing their minds as they realise that these opinions have been based on flawed or even concocted science.”

THE AUSTRALIAN SOVEREIGNTY PARTY
The ASP is fully committed to implementing a health policy that will transform our ailing health system into one that will be the envy of the world. Our current health system has been under-performing for many decades – and with the government asleep at the wheel it is in chronic need of an overhaul.
Hippocrates, 460-377 BC
Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food.
The ASP Health Policy is:
To permanently remove fluoride
from our drinking water.
To substantially increase funding and resources to all public hospitals in order to eliminate patient waiting lists and to increase staff numbers to more realistic levels.
To abandon our costly addiction to pharmacological “symptom based” treatments for a more holistic approach – one that is dedicated to providing natural, long-term and permanent solutions to illnesses.
To make our healthcare systems available free of charge to all Australians.
To hold our food producing industries accountable and legally liable to minimise the presence of toxins, dangerous food additives and artificial colours.
To expand our knowledge of effective alternative medicine, and to recognize and legitimise natural therapeutic remedies alongside the domain of pharmaceutical medication.
To encourage the cultivation and consumption of organic produce.
To educate the public on the correlation and benefits of nutritional value and good health.
To expose the dangers and lack of success of chemotherapy in cancer treatments – and review natural remedies that have enviable track records.
To educate and inform the public on the hidden dangers of vaccines and why they are so ineffective.
To thoroughly test, scrutinise and debate the acceptance of genetically modified (GM) foods before approving them for consumption.
To isolate Australia from foreign food administrations influence such as Americas FDA and the UN’s Codex Alimentarius Trade Commission…

- Investigate the building and running options for a Performing Arts College for Cairns
Do everything possible to have fluoride removed from local water supplies and distribute free fluoride tablets through councils & chemists
- Push for more needed Smithfield to Mareeba Highway upgrades with a regional inclusive Government
Fight for the Implementation of a Queensland State Bank
- Restore property rights to landholders

A MOTION CALLING FOR A BAN ON
FLUORIDATION
By The Green Party Of Canada
Subcategory: Health and Environment
Code: G10-p19
Toronto Danforth EDA, Davenport EDA, Vaughan EDA, York University Greens, Frank De Jong, Tom Eric, Halvorsen Jobi, Mike Kenny, Claudia Rodriguez-Larrain, Ingrid Sheriff, Constantine Kritsonis, Mike Dewar, Marie La Plume, Fay Neuber, Stefan Premdas, Bruce Hearns, Matt Turner
BE IT RESOLVED that the Green Party seeks to introduce and support legislation that will ban artificial fluoridation products in public drinking water.
Motion Operative:
WHEREAS the Green Party affirms that the precautionary principle should be used where there is evidence of potential harm in the absence of complete scientific consensus.
WHEREAS no statistical difference exists in rates of dental caries between areas that use artificial water fluoridation chemicals and those that do not (Statistics Canada);
WHEREAS fluoride is not removed in sewage treatment and remains a toxic constituent of the effluent discharged by treatment plants to rivers and lakes, and background levels of fluoride in the Great Lakes exceed the Canadian Water Quality Guideline (CWQG) for aquatic species, and fluoride concentrations in sewage effluent are 5-10 times in excess of the CWQG. At these concentrations fluoride is known to be toxic to a variety of water species such as salmon, caddisfly, daphnia & others;
WHEREAS the use of drinking water to deliver medications is not medically or environmentally sustainable, and the use of unregulated, unapproved medications in drinking water, without a prescription or informed consent is medically and environmentally not sustainable, and the daily dose of fluoride cannot be controlled and health effects from fluoride are not monitored;
Green Party of Canada website 22 August 2010
WHEREAS 97 percent of Europe does not use artificial water fluoridation products in their public drinking water supply, and 94 percent of the world’s population does not use artificial water fluoridation products in their public water supply;
Motion Preamble:
WHEREAS fluoridation products such as hexafluorosilicic acid and sodium silicofluoride are toxic by-products scrubbed from the smokestacks of the phosphate mining industry, and less than one percent of treated water is actually ingested by people and the remaining 99 percent is discharged into the environment.
This motion, in calling for a ban on the fluoridation of public drinking water,
would create a new policy and would involve the federal government stepping into an area that has
traditionally been within the jurisdiction of the provinces.

We do not have the moral right to create a situation
from which the fluoride intolerant individual has no escape.

PETITIONS
Mrs CARRYN SULLIVAN:
(Pumicestone—ALP)
❝ …One would have to believe in the tooth fairy if one believes that fluoridation is the be-all and end all of tooth decay. We cannot brush off the fact that our sugar intake averages one kilo per week per person in Australia, much of which is hidden. I have seen Coke in toddlers’ bottles.
At an international level, most European countries have tried it, monitored it, found it wanting and tossed it out. The US Food and Drug Administration has never approved fluoridating chemicals or fluoride supplements for use. A letter from an American man who has several health problems related to exposure to fluorides has pleaded to congressmen and senators to stop using toxic waste as a fluoridation agent. Less than four per cent of the world’s population is fluoridated, despite 50 years of massive, worldwide, well-financed media-protected propaganda. With such a huge rejection or failure to take up fluoridation in other countries and all of west continental EU, why would we want it? Something is rotting in Denmark.
In Sweden, after being told of the overwhelming body of scientific evidence—around 30,000 studies—showing the benefits of water fluoridation, the parliament said, ‘Show us.’ It turned out that those studies did not even exist. Obviously the Liberal Party [Qld.] is not basing its argument on scientific fact but more on a promoted belief.
At a professional level, I did not have to extract information from doctors and scientists at the cutting edge of research. They were very forthcoming with their different views and it is as false as dentures to suggest that dentists agree with the member for Surfers Paradise, who himself is a driller. When one cannot get the unanimous support of one’s own colleagues, one surely knows that one is fighting a losing battle. That certainly must hit a raw nerve. As with all matters there are two sides and I ask the member to be honest and tell the tooth, the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth… ❞
Well said Mrs CARRYN SULLIVAN !
— but how did you vote on the 12 Feb. 2008 ?
